Insight Global is seeking a Project Accountant to support an MEP contractor on a hybrid schedule in Horsham, PA. Must Haves 5-10 Years of Project Accounting Experience Experience managing at least 20 million in budget Project Accounting experience must come from a construction subcontracting background Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with Cost Plus software Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. required Day-to-day: Senior Project Accountant is responsible for coordinating all phases of the construction job costing process including categorizing, recording, analyzing and monitoring costs and billings associated with a large construction project as well as several smaller less complex projects. This position also assures vendor compliance in order to manage project risk. Serves as mentor and provides training to or supervise less-experienced Project Accountants Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner Seniority level
