A renowned luxury hotel located in the heart of New York City is seeking a talented Sales/Revenue Manager to join their team. JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for proactively and cost-effectively maximizing subscriber hotel room revenues, RevPAR, and system delivery to achieve superior performance compared to the competitive set as measured in RGI and against budget growth targets. The scope of work focuses on Room Accommodations but may extend to conferencing and events, food and beverage outlets, channel management, and loyalty contributions. To be the key driver of revenue generation data analysis and recommend logical, tactical, and strategic initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

【Key Activities】 Lead daily pricing and yield management calls with a portfolio of hotels. Provide insights and recommendations to ensure that pricing, conversion, and yield restrictions are appropriate to forecasted demand and inventory is balanced. Manage the daily operations of the Reservations team and revenue systems effectively. For managed hotels, implement system actions around pricing and yield to drive optimal RevPAR delivery. Review secondary research data & analysis to understand competitor practices & performance, economic & consumer trends, and market dynamics & demand generators. Use this knowledge to identify and implement opportunities to generate incremental revenues and drive revenue and pricing strategies with adequate ROI for all portfolio hotels. Analyze group activity, including denials, regrets, booking pace, wash, and cutoff enforcement. Implement Group and FIT strategy calendar to assist ground teams in relevant pricing decisions. Understand the MACRO and competitor environment through secondary research/3rd Party tools like Agency360 (subject to subscription). Communicate the impact and appropriate direction to stakeholders (hotel team, area team, and commercial teams). Analyze market reach/penetration and advise Sales & Marketing on strategic shifts needed in the short, medium, and long term. Collaborate with the Executive Sales Manager to understand channel delivery impacts and make decisions to shift share; manage channels effectively. Support New Hotel Openings (NHOPs) as per service level agreements, based on hotel subscriptions. Provide regional and internal stakeholders with monthly performance summaries and outlooks, including individual portfolio commentary as needed. 【Forecasting / Budget】 Maintain regular communication with hotels and the area team regarding performance, opportunities, and threats. Consider economic, political, social trends influencing business outcomes. Support sales and marketing strategies based on forecasts and budgets. Ensure forecasting accuracy across all segments, focusing on RevPAR. Evaluate group acceptance and pricing aligned with demand forecasts. Update and analyze denial and regret activity relative to demand and pricing. 【Guest Experience】 Ensure assigned hotels understand program deliverables and timelines. Brief stakeholders on changes and set expectations. Foster collaboration through open communication with General Managers, Sales & Marketing Teams, Area Teams, and external clients/customers. 【Responsible Business】 Identify and correct hazards using risk management tools like hazard reporting, workplace inspections, and incident reporting. 【Accountability】 Performance Metrics: Forecasting accuracy, year-on-year RGI growth, channel contribution, stakeholder engagement, loyalty contribution, and decision-making authority over pricing and yield decisions. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

【Education】 University Degree or Hospitality Diploma/Degree is essential. Postgraduate qualification in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, or related field is desirable. 【Experience】 Minimum of 5+ years in the Hospitality Industry. At least 3 years of advanced understanding of Yield Management, preferably in a Cluster/Portfolio Revenue Management environment. Management experience required. 【Technical Skills and Knowledge】 In-depth knowledge of Central Reservation Systems (Holidex Plus/Trust/Marsha, etc.), Property Management Systems (Opera). Proven experience with Revenue Management Software Systems like Optims, Ideas, Rate360, Perform & Price Optimization. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Excellent report writing and presentation skills. Fluency in both English and Japanese.
