Join our team as a Quality Engineer, responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes. Our team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing quality systems, procedures, and standards to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. This role will assist specific MFC manufacturing sites for extended periods of time prior & during the 1LMX transition.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer, your focus will be on driving quality excellence, and your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and improving inspection and testing processes to guarantee high-quality products Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products Analyzing quality data to support supplier and production teams Leading corrective action meetings, identifying trends, and assisting in problem resolution Participating in material review boards and failure review boards to disposition non-conforming hardware and identify root causes Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings, procedures, and industry standards Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement Making final decisions on product acceptability
