Program Summary The MISS program is a comprehensive initiative supporting the US Department of State’s operations in Iraq. It includes base operations, Life Support Services, and advisory capabilities to the Iraqi Government, focusing on strategic planning, feasibility studies, and project management. KBR provides facility maintenance, procurement, supply functions, foodservice, camp operations, renovations, construction, and medical services.

Job Summary The Task Order Fuel Manager is the senior manager for fuel storage, procurement, analysis, and distribution at Chief of Mission sites. Requires experience with fuel systems, quality surveillance, inventory, and ability to read technical drawings. Location: Baghdad, Iraq (contingent on award).

Roles And Responsibilities

Maintain a safe workplace prioritizing safety. Oversee bulk fuel storage and distribution supporting operations. Analyze fuel usage and order accordingly, considering operational peaks and lulls. Manage fuel logistics, procurement, movement approvals, and delivery. Handle receipt, storage, and shipping of fuel products. Coordinate with operational activities to meet contractual requirements. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards. Instruct staff on policies and procedures. Resolve performance and personnel issues. Conduct daily meetings to discuss project work and concerns. Evaluate employee performance. Basic Qualifications US Citizen with valid US Passport. Valid driver’s license and clean record. Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. Possess or be able to obtain USG security clearance or MRPT. High School Diploma or GED. Eight years managing fuel operations in a large institutional setting. Fuels Management Certifications. Preferred Qualifications Effective communication skills. Organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Teamwork and leadership abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. Knowledge of fuel system activities, safety, and environmental regulations. Customer service skills.
