As the world of sales enablement continues to evolve rapidly and the expectations of our commercial organization grow daily, there is a need for our team to employ forward-thinking and highly skilled sales enablement professionals. The Sales Enablement Analyst will be a disruptor, questioning the status quo of how enablement, training, and performance are delivered to sales. This role offers a dynamic blend of technical administration, content organization, training support, and cross-functional collaboration, providing a unique opportunity to contribute directly to our sales effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will bring an expert level background in instructional design, content development, and sales enablement technologies to develop engaging, relevant, and on-the-job sales learning and enablement. The Sales Enablement Analyst will play a vital role in the administration and optimization of our global sales content enablement and learning management platforms.
This position reports to the Director, Global Learning Enablement, and is responsible for delivering key objectives of the sales enablement strategy for Waters' commercial organization. The role involves identifying and implementing best-in-class learning and performance solutions to drive sales behaviors, leadership, and support commercialization efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and/or sales enablement, with experience in developing and curating learning content and sales activation systems for approximately 1,500 global sales and commercial employees.
This position will partner with local resources across global regions, requiring respect for the diversity of our teams and their approach to work and customers.
Responsibilities
Owns, develops, and optimizes a centralized sales enablement system that delivers relevant content for specific sales roles. Maintains operational efficiency through user and functional enhancements, training, feedback, success metrics, ongoing analysis, and new requirements. Collaborates with sales, commercial operations, marketing, and product marketing to develop and curate innovative content and tools. Works with content owners to develop learning interventions using exceptional instructional design and consulting skills, influencing stakeholders to the most effective solutions. Develops sales tools using contemporary technology, drives implementation and usage, measures effectiveness, and continuously improves based on feedback. Coordinates sales enablement events, including global meetings, classroom and virtual learning sessions, and team initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Experience in global sales or sales enablement, with data-informed decision-making and proficiency in sales analytics. Experience in a science or technical organization is preferred. Minimum 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce CRM. Minimum 3+ years’ experience with learning content systems, content digitization, and sales content activation systems. Skills in instructional design, learning measurement, learning science, creative design thinking, project management, and change management. Complexity: Medium to High, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills. Personal attributes include thought leadership, process/system thinking, data-driven agility, energy, self-direction, persuasion, influence, and decision-making capabilities.
