Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator
to join our manufacturing team in
Mankato, Minnesota . The role involves leading safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting training, and fostering a safety-first culture across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage safety programs at the Mankato manufacturing facility.
Ensure OSHA and company EHS compliance.
Lead Safety Champions in safety initiatives.
Conduct safety training sessions for all employees.
Identify hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
Perform safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with leadership to integrate safety into operations.
Report on safety metrics and performance indicators.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing safety roles (5+ years preferred).
OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent.
Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST) are a plus.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Leadership ability to promote safety culture.
Comfortable engaging with employees at all levels on the production floor.
Additional Details:
Salary: Starting from $100,000/year.
Schedule: 10-hour or 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
Work Location: In person.
