Corning Incorporated Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Formulation Chemist to join our innovative team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid foundation in Formulation Science to contribute to the development of advanced materials and processes in inks, adhesives, and coatings. Responsibilities
Design, synthesize, and characterize organic formulations in the area of inks, adhesives, and/or coatings. Perform material and process optimizations to achieve desired properties. Develop new routes for the preparation of advanced functional materials. Conduct in-depth analysis of results and present findings to multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experiments and findings. Collaborate with scientific and engineering teams to integrate formulations into innovative products. Minimum Requirements
PhD with 3+ years' experience or Master's with 8+ years’ experience. Background in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field, focusing on Formulation Chemistry for inks, adhesives, and/or coatings. Experience with formulation science and characterization techniques such as FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM. Ability to design and carry out hands-on experiments and initiate research activities. Innovative thinking and creativity. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with polymer formulations. Experience with Sol-Gel Chemistry or particle dispersions. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. This position supports immigration sponsorship. The salary range is $101,586.00 - $139,681.00, depending on experience and location.
