S&B is seeking a
Senior Process Engineer
to support our Greenville, SC team. The role requires proficiency in all conventional aspects of Process Engineering, with the ability to apply independent judgment for evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard process engineering methods and procedures. Developing processes in collaboration with clients’ technical staff. Conducting field visits to gather operational data. Preparing equipment specifications and process design documentation. Participating in process safety reviews and preparing operator manuals. Assisting in contract proposal preparations. Qualifications:
Minimum 10-20 years of experience in Process/Design Engineering or related fields. Extensive experience with computer software and automated engineering tools. Preferably experience in a Paper Mill environment and as a lead process engineer on capital projects. Professional Engineering license is highly preferred or willingness to obtain it. Technical Skills:
Material Handling, Recycled Fibers, Pulping & Bleaching, Papermaking, Power & Recovery processes. Experience with WinGEMS, TAPPI paper machine drive studies, and headbox replacement projects is preferred. Additional Skills:
Strong communication, mathematical, and physical ability skills. Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Primarily office-based with occasional site visits requiring physical activity and exposure to various environmental conditions. About S&B:
