Maintenance Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversees the department material needs and ensuring that adequate supplies are available when needed. Schedule and supervise staff for the machine shop and building maintenance employees (janitors). Fill in for labor pool and mobile maintenance supervisors. Assists with various projects as assigned by specific departments or Superintendents. Provides troubleshooting assistance and/or repair as needed. SALARY WAGE: $95,000 to $115,000 Annually PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must possess strong process, system and organizational skills. Must possess the ability to apply problem solving skills for conflict resolution. Knowledge of materials and equipment applicable to the position. Ability to maintain flexibility in schedule to meet business needs. Proficiency with computer software programs such as standard Microsoft Office applications, EAM and planning/scheduling software. Compliance with all safety guidelines including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing at all times. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of relevant experience in the maintenance/mechanical area of a manufacturing plant. Experienced in developing and/or performing in a maintenance structure designed for high reliability through defined standards and procedures. Demonstrated ability to lead and achieve desired results. Experienced with RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode Analysis). General electrical license/millwright certification preferred.
