As an Account Executive at Alchemy, you will drive the blockchain industry forward by helping developers and companies accelerate their product development on our infrastructure. You will own the entire sales process and collaborate with teams across the company, including leadership and founders. This role offers significant growth and learning opportunities as we enter an exciting new phase. Responsibilities
Build and own the entire sales process, including negotiating and closing contracts, client retention, renewals, upsells, and ensuring client satisfaction. Engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and demonstrate how our product addresses those needs. Reach out to new leads via various channels and generate interest for introductory calls. Educate cryptocurrency companies about blockchain nodes and troubleshooting infrastructure issues (resources provided). Track, analyze, and improve sales campaigns and processes. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business outcomes for customers. Refine and establish processes to support evolving business needs. Develop long-term, trustworthy relationships with senior executives and technical stakeholders. Create and communicate compelling value propositions. Manage and report using CRM, ensuring data accuracy and metric tracking. Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to inform development. Support customers pre- and post-sale, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and ensure satisfaction. What We're Looking For
7+ years of quota-carrying experience in a client-facing Account Executive role selling SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS to enterprise and C-level stakeholders. Knowledge and passion for the crypto/blockchain industry. Technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS. Self-starter attitude with the ability to execute independently. Strong desire to work in sales at a fast-paced startup. Proven success in developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects with complex enterprise clients. Experience in driving technology adoption and creating long-term account strategies. Ability to operate proactively and independently to source new business. Proficiency with CRM software, forecasting, and opportunity management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to understand customer pain points and align technical services to business value. Experience managing multiple requests and demands concurrently. Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading a sales team. Proven success working in fast-paced, demanding environments. Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Advanced CRM skills, including dashboard and report development, and programming experience. Experience with cross-functional selling (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, ISV). Ability to prepare and deliver financial reports to clients.
