Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our team, focused on delivering actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across commercial strategy and marketing functions for our Cell and Gene Therapies Technologies (C> portfolio. This position reports to the Senior Director of Global C> Sales and Marketing.

The ideal candidate will analyze internal and external data to uncover trends, optimize sales performance, and inform strategic initiatives in the rapidly evolving Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) market. The role also involves supporting tactical marketing activities and interacting with cross-functional teams.

This position is unable to offer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

It requires onsite work 3 days per week in Lake Zurich, IL, with flexibility for remote work on other days.

Base salary range: $104,000-110,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus of 6% of the base salary. Final pay depends on experience, education, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

Analyze internal sales data and CRM inputs (e.g., Salesforce) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities across customer segments.

Translate complex data into clear insights to support commercial strategy and business evaluations.

Prepare and present reports for leadership and stakeholders.

Develop dashboards and automated reports to monitor sales performance and pipeline metrics.

Segment customer profiles to refine targeting strategies and support account-based marketing.

Monitor the CGT market landscape, including therapeutic areas, company activity, regulatory developments, and investment trends.

Assess the strategies of CGT developers regarding indications and geographical expansion to identify opportunities and risks.

Maintain and update market intelligence databases and competitive trackers.

Collaborate with marketing teams to test and optimize messaging and promotional tactics.

Evaluate ROI of marketing initiatives and refine tactics based on performance data.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Life Sciences, Economics, Statistics, or related; Master’s preferred.

3+ years in data analysis, ideally in life sciences, biotech, or healthcare sectors.

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), Excel, and CRM systems (Salesforce).

Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is a plus.

Understanding of commercial strategy, marketing analytics, and the CGT landscape is desirable.

Excellent communication skills to translate data insights for non-technical audiences.
