then come join us Job Description: Provide specialized Targeteer SME support to assist USSOCOM subordinates or associated organizations and staffs. Be experienced and hold certifications to execute precision point mensuration, accurate Joint Desired Point of Impact identification (JDPI) and placement (“point dropping”). Shall be a skilled Collateral Damage Estimate (CDE) analyst with the ability to communicate accurately and effectively with USSOCOM senior leadership and customers. Subject matter expertise is required to conduct training of incoming certified Targeteers on orders to support forward-deployed RTFs in all elements of TF-specific targeting, to include, but not limited to, precision point mensuration, weaponeering, and CDE analysis and estimation in both dynamic and deliberate targeting situations. The TA SME LCAT shall possess the following capabilities: Expert knowledge of SOF and/or CT intelligence experience. Superior proficiency, knowledge, understanding, and experience with current all-source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends. Demonstrate superior proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of all-source intelligence tools. Demonstrate experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher. Excellent briefing skills and experienced in directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. Experience with target material production (TMP), to include, but not limited to, target development and validation.
Qualifications: Minimum of eight (8) or more years of all-source intelligence analyst experience at the full performance level, with 5 or more years working for or with USSOCOM SOF or national level intelligence agencies. At least three (3) years of experience and knowledge in intelligence support to special operations. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Targeteer in an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, National Military Joint Intelligence Center, Combatant Command, or a non-DoD equivalent IA operational community. 3 or more years of experience writing formal finished intelligence assessments (e.g., white papers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products). Certified in CJCSI 3505.01C (Target Coordinate Mensuration Certification and Program Accreditation). Position requires active Security Clearance
