Lee Health Cancer Institute in Southwest Florida is seeking fellowship-trained breast surgeons to join our dedicated team. We manage over 1,000 breast cases annually and are fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Our multidisciplinary team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, breast radiologists, advanced practice providers, pathologists, genetic counselors, and nurse navigators, providing personalized and coordinated care. The Cancer Institute is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility with comprehensive services including medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, and palliative care, handling over 5,300 cases annually. It features a 43-chair chemotherapy infusion center, advanced imaging, and supportive services such as genetic counseling and cancer rehabilitation. Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited medical school, completed an accredited general surgery residency, and finished a Society of Surgical Oncology-approved Breast Oncology or ACGME-approved Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship. Candidates should possess excellent surgical skills, leadership qualities, and strong communication abilities.
