Located close to the Colorado/Nebraska border, Sedgwick County Health Center is aCritical Access Hospitalwith 15 licensed beds, a 32-room nursing home and a 10-unit assisted living facility. They operate three provider clinics, one in Julesburg, CO, one in Big Springs, NE, and one in Chappell, NE. Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off Urgent Care: During the on-call days, handle limited urgent care cases in the clinic. Clinical Details: Low Patient Volumes: Emergency Department:~4–5 patients/day Inpatient Census:~2 patients/day Limited urgent care clinic visits during 1st call days EMR:Cerner + Dragon Dictation Support Staff:Strong nursing, hospital staff, and APP team Scope: ED, Inpatient, Swing Bed, Urgent Care Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited program. Board certified/board eligible in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Eligible for Colorado medical licensure. Current CPR, BLS, ATLS & ACLS Certifications Current DEA.
