We’re looking for a driven Account Executive to join a well-funded, early-stage startup focused on solving critical challenges for modern data teams. This is an opportunity to join a small, fast-moving team and take ownership of the full sales cycle in a technical, high-impact space.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving data teams and executive decision-makers
Conduct structured discovery and value-based selling using proven sales methodologies
Self-generate pipeline through consistent outbound efforts
Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
Act as a strategic advisor to prospects and clients
Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and go-to-market teams
Requirements
4+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, including full-cycle ownership
Proven progression from SDR / BDR to AE roles
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in early-stage startups
Experience managing ACVs between $50K–$300K and 3–6 month deal cycles
Strong outbound prospecting skills; able to self-source 50%+ of pipeline
Skilled at running structured discovery and qualification processes
Confident delivering technical demos to both end users and executives
Background in data infrastructure, analytics, or BI is strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Based in San Francisco preferred; top candidates in NYC will also be considered
