Waters Corporation . Overview Clinical Systems Development is a growing team created to develop Waters Clinical and IVD Systems, Hardware and Software. This is a great opportunity to be involved at the outset of a new organization, aiming to better meet the challenges of our Clinical customers and accelerate growth in this segment. The role involves key development activities in hardware and software for Waters Clinical customers. Responsibilities Develop Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Systems for Waters Clinical Business Unit. Innovate and create new separation and mass measurement concepts for LC/MS clinical systems and analyzers that are ground-breaking and disruptive. Conduct research & development activities for Clinical LC/MS Systems, advise on experimental design, and collaborate with Waters R&D and customers on research projects. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on separations-based and mass spectrometry-based technologies, monitoring developments and competitor products to identify opportunities or threats. Present research findings at international conferences and to senior management. Work with Engineering and Service teams to improve product quality, robustness, and reliability. Drive technology integration and transfer into commercial instrumentation. Produce product specifications and engineering requirements, guiding engineering teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or related field. Preferably a PhD or extensive relevant experience in Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
