OpenEye is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of OpenEye Web Services (OWS) using a combination of technical proficiencies, organizational aptitude and interpersonal skills, as well as learning and progressing with evolving technology. You will join a creative team using the latest technology within the Cloud Video and Security space. Responsibilities include independently developing and maintaining software, leading smaller development projects or features, collaborating with Product Management and stakeholders, interfacing with various departments and customers, mentoring entry-level developers, communicating technical solutions clearly, analyzing input requirements, reviewing code, participating in Agile processes, and other duties as assigned. The tech stack includes Java, Spring, React, TypeScript, MySQL, CrateDB, Git, IntelliJ. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, 2-5 years professional experience, experience in Java, C# or similar, solid understanding of OOP, ability to learn new technologies quickly, excellent problem-solving skills, strong quality ethic, and great communication and teamwork skills. Sponsorship for employment authorization is not available. The position offers a pay range of $90,000 - $125,000 annually plus an annual discretionary bonus, stock purchase options, medical/dental/vision benefits starting day 1, 401k match, paid leave, flexible hybrid work schedule, educational assistance, and other perks.
