Job Summary
We are seeking a Stone Fabricator to join our team! In this role, you will construct products from raw materials, ensuring all pieces meet specifications and safety standards. You must be able to read and follow drawings and adhere to a production schedule while always prioritizing safety.
Responsibilities
This position involves fabricating high-quality stone manufacturing, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every step of the process
Verify all necessary materials for the product are available
Cut, polish, and edge stone materials to meet specifications and quality standards
Handle and move stone slabs and fabricated pieces safely and efficiently
Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations
Maintain and clean fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performanc
Confirm measurements
Assist with loading and unloading materials, including raw slabs and fabricated pieces
Organize and maintain the workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Adhere to a strict production schedule
Test products after production to ensure consistency and quality
Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
Qualifications
Previous experiences as a Fabricator or in a similar position preferred
Fabrication training or certification is preferred
Familiarity with equipment and hand tools for cutting and polishing stone
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience operating heavy machinery
Basic construction knowledge
Excellent manual dexterity and vision
Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely
Creativity in execution
Highly detail-oriented
Strong organizational & time-managment skills
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable working in varying conditions, including warehouse and fabrication shop environments
