Dir, Compliance

Primary Purpose of Job Directs the Bankwide Compliance Management Program. Serves as a resource throughout the Bank by providing coaching, direction and training on all aspects of compliance management. Major Job Accountabilities Directs the Bankwide Compliance Management Program. Actively promotes compliance risk management practices and continuous process improvements. Monitors the Bank's compliance risk profile and policies. Directs compliance reviews based on conclusions from the annual risk assessment. Monitors events that could materially impact compliance risk. Stays current with emerging risks that could impact compliance risk. Serves as a resource throughout the Bank by providing coaching, direction and training on all aspects of compliance risk management, practices and assists with projects to strengthen compliance risk management capabilities across the organization. Reports to the Management Committee and the Board Risk Committee on compliance risk management. Experience Required 10 years Bank regulatory compliance. 5 years Management experience. Required Skills or Training Proven knowledge and expertise in bank consumer compliance regulations, compliance risk management frameworks demonstrated by relevant experience. Working knowledge of bank products, services and processes. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to conceptualize new ideas and complex technical matters. Excellent written, oral, listening and presentation communication skills to effectively communicate with, positively influence and partner effectively with all levels of the organization, the Board Risk Committee, bank regulators and auditors. Ability to remain flexible in a demanding work environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Demonstrated ability to manage and to work independently or as part of a team, in an effective and efficient manner under pressure. Maintains trusted, collaborative relationships across the organization to promote an appropriate level of engagement with consumer compliance activities. Proficient PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
