Quality Assurance Team Leader . Lead the execution of quality programs, including GMPs, GLPs, HACCP, and food safety systems. Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory compliance. Manage and train QA staff, equipping them for daily tasks and quality checks. Conduct routine audits and verify quality systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Collaborate with production and other departments to tackle quality-related issues. Oversee product sampling, testing, and release processes for accurate analysis. Ensure verification of electronic system updates for raw materials and finished products. Lead investigations on product deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate improvements as necessary. Prepare the site for external audits. Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights on quality and food safety. Ensure accuracy and currency of all quality control documentation, including Certificate of Analysis (COA). Assist in developing and refining SOPs and other quality documentation. Oversee training programs for production teams on quality standards and compliance. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives for plant-wide quality enhancement. What you need to join our team: Minimum three (3) years of quality assurance experience in the food industry, with proven leadership. Strong knowledge of GMPs, GLPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations is essential. Associate's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is required. Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
