BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Technical Writer/Management Analyst, Senior professional with 10+ years of experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least 1 of those years demonstrating experience in technical writing. Supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Program Office (PMA-234), at Patuxent River, MD. Salary The typical annual salary range for this position is $101,182.00 USD to $109,280.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities
Assists the program with writing technical content such as requirements documentation, specifications, program plans (such as program protection plans, Risk Management Framework mitigation plans/risk burn down), technical portions of the statement of work, and Contract Data Requirements List assessments relating to aircraft and pod product programs
Assists in the development of technical review documentation based on Prime Contractor data submissions, and aids in the development and routing of Engineering Change Proposals Applies government-instituted processes for documentation and writing style guidance Ensures that written documentation is clear, unambiguous, and concise
Qualifications
10+ years of experience performing duties described in the
responsibilities
description, with at least 1 of those years demonstrating experience in technical writing Desired Experience At least 1 year of experience in NAVAIR technical writing as described in the functional description EDUCATION - from statement of work Degree:
Senior - MA/MS degree Allowable Substitution: Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. OR Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. CLEARANCE - from statement of work Must maintain Secret security clearance eligibility at minimum May require access to classified information up to and including Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Condition of Employment:
Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. CITIZENSHIP The applicant must have US citizenship at the time of application.
