Medical Laboratory Technician

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician who will be able to perform routine and special diagnostic procedures. The level of analysis performed may range from point of care testing to complex testing, involving all major areas of the clinical laboratory. Qualifications include an associates degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology; or an associates degree or higher, including 16 semester hours of biological science, 16 semester hours of chemistry, or education equivalent to at least 60 semester hours of science courses. Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology or American Medical Technologists is required. Responsibilities include running appropriate laboratory technical equipment, using laboratory information systems, instructing new employees, using the hospital information system, washing glassware, and accurately changing lab procedures.
