5 Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Research Coordinator 2 performs coordination of all phases of the research process. Responsibilities include attainment of approval processes, coordination of data collection, management, patient follow-up, and tracking. Your Job Requirements: Bachelor degree or Medical Assistant in appropriate discipline RN Degree preferred Medical Assistant Certification, and/or a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) required LVN or RN license, preferred 2 or more years of related experience Your Job Responsibilities: Available to sponsor monitors upon study site visits Follow patients throughout study Maintain statistical information Follow all rules and regulations from the FDA, IRB, and other agencies Initiate and maintain IRB regulations and submit necessary documents Coordinate all phases of clinical trials ensuring protocol compliance Collect, interpret, and report clinical data Maintain drug inventory Prepare charts for clinic visits and organize data Complete case report forms Attend meetings with physicians and research staff Track lab results and ensure timely receipt Triaging patient calls related to research or standard care Assist with writing protocols Perform study procedures like lab processing Develop understanding of disease process under study Perform rating scales and tools under investigation Communicate clearly and build collaborative relationships Be accountable and seek continuous improvement Take initiative for professional growth Engage actively in team building Methodist Health System is a faith-based organization committed to compassionate, quality healthcare.
