is seeking a patient-focused
Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist
to collaborate with our highly skilled teams. Partake in the care of patients with Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiogenic Shock, Mechanical Circulatory Support (including ECMO), Cardiac Transplantation, Pulmonary Hypertension and Cardio-Oncology. Opportunity to perform Advanced Heart Failure procedures such as Hemodynamic catheterization, Endomyocardial Biopsies, CardioMems device placement, Cardiopulmonary Exercise testing, etc. Must be willing to round on inpatient service and take full call as a part of the group. Opportunity to grow multidisciplinary clinical programs, research, and programmatic funding. Faculty appointment with the IU School of Medicine; clinical rank will commensurate with experience. Qualifications: Candidate must be American Board Certified/Board Eligible. Fellowship training required. At least 5+ years of experience preferred. We offer a strong compensation model with sign-on bonus and production bonus. With 1,000 beds, IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds. It serves as the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, as well as a highly subspecialized center for cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care. IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027.
