Job Summary: LightFeather is seeking a Frontend Engineer to help build secure, performant applications used in federal environments. The role involves developing cross-platform application features and collaborating with UI/UX designers to create accessible experiences. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain cross-platform application features (web, Windows, and Android) using React and TypeScript • Ensure performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across all supported platforms • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement clean, user-friendly, and accessible experiences • Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and architecture discussions • Support cross-platform deployment workflows and testing processes Qualifications: Required: • 2–5 years of professional software development experience • Strong hands-on experience with React • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript • Proven experience delivering cross-platform applications using React or related stacks • Active Public Trust clearance Preferred: • Experience with CapacitorJS • Experience with ElectronJS • Experience with TailwindCSS • Experience with TRPC • Experience with Figma • Experience with Storybook • Experience with Jest or Playwright • Experience with Java or Kotlin for native Android development • Familiarity with testing and deployment workflows for multi-platform applications • Experience working on government applications Company: LightFeather is an IT consulting firm that provides UI/UX design, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, analytics, data science, and cloud services.
