The Data and Analytics Engineering team within the Reporting, Benchmarking, and Analytics department at HCA is hiring for a Consulting Business Intelligence Developer position. The individual hired into this role will work closely with the Senior Analytics Manager to build out an analytics platform in Google Cloud Services, leveraging Big Query and Looker. Specifically, this role will create curated analytics schemas in Big Query, build logical data models using Look ML, and design data visualizations with Looker, Qlik Sense, or Power BI, in order to identify cost savings opportunities throughout the enterprise. Major Responsibilities

Development of support of Google Analytics Platform with Big Query and Looker. Development and support of enterprise Qlik Analytics Platform (Qlik Sense, Qlikview, NPrinting). Design and develop database schemas, ETL workflows, benchmarks, and clustering models. Support application maintenance, documentation, performance tuning, unit testing, and end-user support. Operational Responsibilities

Work independently with general supervision from management. Engage with business leadership, ITG cohorts, and team colleagues to understand business needs and processes related to analytics development. Work collaboratively across departments and within peer groups. Contribute to the success of the strategic initiatives of HCA and Reporting, Benchmarking, and Analytics. Accounting through supporting automation, innovation, creativity, quality, and continuous improvement. Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement." Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required. 7+ years of experience in BI Development and Design required. 3+ years of experience in Healthcare or Healthcare-related operations preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Occasional travel: The job may require travel from time to time, but not on a regular basis. Licenses, Certifications, & Training

Advanced SQL. BI Products (Looker, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI). ETL Tool Experience (SSIS, informatica, Talend, Altery, etc).
