Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Location: 28633 Tanic Drive, Wesley Chapel The role you'll contribute: Performs at a technical level a variety of cardiac & vascular ultrasound procedures on neonatal through gerontologic patients. Has the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Obtains quality diagnostic scans and assists physicians as needed. Selects practical applications and technical factors. Is knowledgeable in and carries out all applicable processes of the department. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as required. Performs additional duties as requested. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you'll bring to the team: Performs, properly documents and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Adapts procedure to each patient's medical situation obtaining all available necessary information for proper interpretation. Demonstrates knowledge of Cardiac & Vascular anatomy and physiology. Cardiac Sonography: ability to perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, contrast and agitated saline studies, and assist with TEE procedures. Vascular Sonography: ability to perform carotid exams, abdominal exams, upper and lower extremity arterial/venous studies with ankle brachial indexes, PVR, post vein ablations procedures, and imaging of pre-operative/post-operative bypass grafts, stents and endarterectomies. Qualifications: High School Grad or Equiv - Required Bachelor's Degree - Preferred 2 Years Work Experience - Required BLS - Required RDCS - Required The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay range for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience and other relevant factors within this pay range.
