ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating and publishing proprietary equity research content in designated industry with stock recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell) to institutional buy-side clients.
Conducting due diligence and providing industry expertise for capital markets equity transactions, initiating C-suite corporate access resources to institutional equity clients.
Initiating C-suite corporate access resources to institutional equity clients, including non-deal roadshows, conferences, field trips, bus tours, and conference calls.
Conducting independent industry assessments and company-specific research reports.
Engaging with corporate client relationships at the highest C-Level (CEO, President, COO, CFO, Director of Strategy, etc).
Level-specific duties:
Collaborating with senior analysts in research production and publication processes.
Conducting macro, industry, and company-level research.
Building models at industry and company levels, including forecasts of market share, revenue, EPS, and cash flow.
Performing financial and valuation analyses.
Formulating investment ideas and drafting research commentary.
Depending on experience, working with Capital Markets, sales, and trading to leverage research products.
Maintaining active dialogue with company representatives as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Licenses: SIE, Series 7 (or Top Off), Series 63, Series 87, and either Series 86 or CFA Level II waiver.
Minimum 5 years of related experience or academic study beyond BA/BS.
Mastery of financial and accounting concepts for financial modeling.
Strong communication, analytical, and sales skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree and/or CFA Designation
6+ years of related experience
Experience in mentoring and coaching
Annual base salary: $185,000
