AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking 2 board certified/eligible general ob/gyns to join our leading women's health care team at AdventHealth Tampa as a faculty member for our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Primary Responsibilities
Seeing patients in the clinic. Teaching in the clinic and hospital. Taking 5 (12-hour) call shifts per month. Participating in gynecologic surgery (optional).
Core Faculty Responsibilities
Participating in the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and advancement of residents. Being a role model of professionalism. Demonstrating commitment to the delivery of safe, quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care. Showing a strong interest in the education of residents.
If desired, this position also offers leadership opportunities and the availability of participating in media events focused on patient education and community health. Our leaders also offer mentoring if desired.
Practice Description AdventHealth is an award-winning organization focused on providing innovative, patient-centered, Wholistic Care in 9 states including Florida. Our care network across Florida includes over 30 hospitals, physicians, and APPs encompassing over 130 medical specialties, urgent care centers, freestanding emergency departments, rehabilitation and physical therapy centers, and a network of laboratory draw stations and radiology centers. Hospital Description Located in the city's uptown district, AdventHealth Tampa is a 536-bed tertiary hospital serving Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and the surrounding counties. The hospital is a known leader in implementing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures and will soon open the Taneja Center for Surgery, a new six-story, state-of-the-art surgical and patient tower. It's also home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a recognized leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and leading-edge research for over 30 years. Other specialty services include 24-hour emergency care for adults and pediatrics, cardiovascular medicine, digestive health, neuroscience, orthopedics, women's services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, and sleep medicine.
