Job Summary
As the VP of Technology, you will be responsible for implementing the technological vision and strategy of the company. You will lead our engineering and technology teams, overseeing the development of innovative products and services that align with our business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring the scalability and security of our technology infrastructure, and driving digital transformation across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
Lead and mentor the engineering and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the design and development of scalable and secure technology solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and identifying opportunities for integration.
Collaborate with other executives to define product roadmaps, ensuring that technology initiatives support product development and customer needs.
Manage technology budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI for technology investments.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure technology performance and drive accountability within the team.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance technology capabilities and drive growth
FinOps Management: Manage FinOps (Financial Operations) practices to optimize technology expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining performance and scalability.
On-Premises and Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the design, deployment, and management of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency.
DevOps Oversight: Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline software development and deployment processes, fostering a culture of continuous integration and delivery.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent product management skills, including experience with product backlog management, road mapping, and product lifecycle management
Deep understanding of agile and lean principles and practices
Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong background in software development, architecture, and infrastructure management.
Proven track record of successfully leading technology teams and delivering innovative products and solutions.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and data analytics.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
Desired Certifications:
Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional) are advantageous.
