Job Description
Under the general administrative direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager is accountable for delivering patient care services that support the organization's strategic plan and achieve clinical and service quality objectives in a clinical unit or care delivery site. This role oversees the quality of clinical services, staff competency and performance, and designs systems to support multidisciplinary team functions and continuity of services, working in coordination with the Clinical Nurse Manager. The Assistant Nurse Manager also participates in organizational project teams and work groups at both the organizational and unit levels. Evening Shift Hours:

Education and Experience Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligible for licensure through Compact state agreements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Education: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required. A master's degree with management coursework is preferred. Incumbents are expected to enroll in an accredited graduate program within one year of employment and complete it within five years. Experience: Three years of recent experience in an acute care facility with at least one year in a clinical specialty is required. Additional Information
