The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing (FCN) seeks applicants for the position of Coordinator, Office of Nursing Research and Innovation. The Office of Nursing Research and Innovation (ONRI) Coordinator is an integral team member in the FCN, serving as the main administrative point of contact for the Office. Working under the direction of the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation (ADRI), the Coordinator will perform high-level program and administrative duties for the FCN's research and innovation enterprise. This requires a service mindset and close collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and other offices across Villanova's campus, as well as external partners. The Coordinator is a self-directed individual who maximizes FCN's potential for innovative research through outstanding project and process management, faculty development support, and financial tracking and reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the ONRI Enterprise Provide administrative support for the ONRI serving as the central point of communication between the Office and internal/external collaborators. Work with the College Grants Administrator and Villanova's Office of Grants & Contracts staff to support pre/post award activities. Maintain knowledge of the Cayuse system used to upload grant proposals and to manage all sponsored awards, the Concur system used for procurement, and the Sirion system used for contracts. Maintain the ONRI website content, Microsoft Teams site, and Bookings link to ensure access to ONRI resources and timely scheduling of meetings. Respond to research-related inquiries, attend relevant meetings and maintain and distribute minutes, agenda, and any related documents. Track progress of both submitted grant applications and funded projects. Manage proposal submission and outcome data using Qualtrics and other tools related. Coordinate Faculty Development Activities Coordinate all aspects of in person and virtual faculty development activities (e.g., brown bags) and manage resources in Teams and other platforms (e.g., on-demand videos). Maintain recordings to share links for live sessions. Identify internal and external resources for technology and innovation, and support faculty to pursue such opportunities. Coordinate, schedule and manage visits from guest speakers for brown bags and other activities. Maintain a database of faculty and staff research and innovation interests to support the strategic assembly of teams to pursue funding opportunities. Coordinate Financial Tracking and Reporting Assist in financial tracking, management and reporting (e.g., ONRI budget, faculty discretionary research accounts). Prepare monthly reports on ONRI activities and forecast needs/resources for upcoming submissions. Onboard externally and internally grant funded roles include hourly students and research assistants (e.g., set up job postings in the employment portal). Provide Administrative Support to the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation (ADRI) Provide administrative support for the ADRI including scheduling of meetings and events. Manage emails between the ADRI and internal/external collaborators (e.g., University leaders, clinical agencies, community partners). Minimum Qualifications: Formal Education: Bachelor's degree required or four years of relevant experience (in addition to experience listed below) in lieu of degree. Minimum Work Experience: Minimum two years of relevant administrative work experience. Experience developing online surveys (e.g., Qualtrics) or ability to learn survey software quickly. Work Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail in writing and computing. Must convey a highly professional demeanor and be a team player and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in organizational studies, organizational leadership, business administration or related field preferred. Education or experience in research and innovation preferred. Administrative experience in an Office of Nursing Research (or similar higher education environment) preferred. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: May require some evenings and/or weekends, scheduled ahead of time.
