We offer a well-trained staff, EHR, and cutting-edge equipment, creating an efficient, low-stress work environment. We are a full-scope practice that manages both refractive and medical conditions. Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities We are searching for a talented OD to join our growing practice! Candidates should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, an interest in learning the business, and be competent in full-scope optometric care. Your regular duties will include the following: Perform comprehensive eye exams Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease Prescribe corrective lenses Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress Handle eye care emergencies Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree Valid state license to practice optometry Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities Excellent verbal and written communication skills A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary with a base of $150,000 and up to $175,000 as well as benefits including: Partnership opportunities Signing bonus Sick time Vacation days Retirement plan with match (after 1 year) Malpractice insurance Licensing fees New grads welcome!
