We are backed by leading venture capital firms and a large number of strategic investors. Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team. What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a seasoned product-focused engineer to lead a greenfield product launch that is critical to our roadmap. Ideally, you have spent several years at high-growth companies and have led product launches from 0 to 1 and have collaborated closely with product teams to ship world-class products. What You'll Do
To thrive in this role, you must be an entrepreneurial engineer who enjoys getting into the weeds. Build: Architect, scope, and build core parts of our system from the ground up
Lead: Identify and drive new initiatives while mentoring junior engineers
Partner: Work closely with problem experts to design elegant, flexible solutions that solve our early clients’ problems while being forward-thinking about future use cases
This Could Be a Great Fit If You...
Have 7+ years of experience as top engineer building and shipping world class products
Expert level knowledge of backend system design
Experience working with server-side languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java) and web frameworks (e.g. Django, Rails)
Have worked in multiple cloud environments, AWS is preferred.
Been a technical lead and mentored other engineers on code reviews and best practices.
Worked at an early stage startup
