Overview The Senior SharePoint Developer provides recommendations to the Director of Operations and the Chief Data Officer regarding information architectures, taxonomies, and workflows. They identify and document user requirements for website usability, prepare technical requirements, design and develop page templates and prototypes, and plan and implement webpage additions and enhancements. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for SharePoint and O365 requirements. Assist government personnel in building and deploying intranet, extranet, and document management sites on SharePoint and other website environments. (Requires familiarity with multiple programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, WordPress, etc.) Utilize and update various Office 365 applications, including Power BI. Develop SharePoint Online-based solutions by gathering requirements and understanding information needs. Support and assist government personnel in maintaining SharePoint and website environments through content posting and management, design, testing, and implementation of web-based solutions, both out-of-the-box and custom. Support and troubleshoot client-facing and public-facing issues with SharePoint, workflow tools, and escalate as appropriate. Make recommendations on design, graphics, features, and functionality to enhance user experience. Provide SharePoint training to DASA DEC staff. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree 8 years of experience Requires Secret clearance Preferred certifications (not required) include: Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator. Certifications will be given favorable consideration.
