Weekend Supervisor
The Weekend Building Supervisor position is responsible for a wide range of tasks including customer service, assisting with maintenance duties and the front desk, and the on-site supervision of shows, expos, tournaments and rentals. Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 or older. Basic computer skills are required as well as the ability to learn Rec Trac 3.1. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, have excellent customer service, communication and decision making skills. Strong organizational habits are recommended and must have a valid driver's license.

Pavilion Maintenance Supervisor and Pavilion General Manager.

The Oak Lawn Park District, incorporated in 1944, has a long and proud history of serving the recreational needs of our 56,000 residents with a myriad of recreational programs and services. We operate under the state tax cap as a municipal corporation, meaning we are our own taxing body. Overseen by a Board of five elected officials, the District manages a combination of 34 parks and facilities which cover over 280 acres. In addition, we manage a Special Recreation Cooperative that offers recreational programs and services to individuals with disabilities in 9 municipalities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee facility rentals including helping guests to the appropriate rooms, setup, clean up, and monitoring parties and rentals. Assist with conflict resolution. Support staff for part time recreation, front desk, and maintenance staff as well as assisting the front desk during high traffic periods with registrations, daily visits, customer service and memberships. Will occasionally have to visit two satellite facilities to assist with rentals and possibly cleaning. Will also provide onsite supervision of small trade shows, expos, and tournaments. Ensure patrons are following code of conduct/rules as well as responding to a variety of issues including scheduling, rentals, customer service, maintenance or other issues that may occur. Communicating issues with program supervisors that may arise during weekend programs is also essential. Must be able to go up on the catwalk and assist with "electric drops" for special events. AVAILABILITY:
12 - 16 hours per week. Employee should be able to work Saturday and Sunday between 10AM - 8PM. Hours can be somewhat flexible depending on employees needs and the needs of the facility.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Worker must be able to work indoors and outdoors on occasion in weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, and rain) Indoor environmental conditions will include lighting and temperature COGNITIVE CONSIDERATIONS:
The ability to read, write, and organize materials Must be able to follow directions - oral and written
