Job Overview

The Deposit, Senior Product Partner is a strategic role responsible for driving the development, enhancement, and execution of the bank's product strategy. This role focuses on analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning product development initiatives with the organization's business goals. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative, customer-centric banking products that drive profitability and market leadership.

Primary Responsibilities Include

Provides strategic direction in developing and implementing the banks products, services, programs and projects including features, benefits and characteristics that meet customer needs.

Responsible for formulating strategy, policy, and overall direction of identified product or suite of products

Acts as the subject matter expert on market and competitive insights and maintains vigilance gathering industry expert opinions and qualitative market data for different market segments

Acts as expert on the customer. Research, identify and articulate unique functional and emotional customer needs

Leads business plans leveraging acquisition and segment teams to increase new account growth and track P&L impact

Ensures effective ways to deliver complete solutions to identify market problems and ensure gaps are identified and filled

Oversees the creation of product roadmaps that align to organizational strategy and illustrate the vision for the product(s) and/or service(s)

Delivers financial results for the product/product suite via operation of all available levers; pricing, margin, volume, sage, etc. Creates and delivers business cases to guide strategy and achieve strategic business results

Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product strategies and initiatives

Effectively communicates and presents to senior leadership to assist in prioritizing product initiatives and ensuring alignment to business objectives

Manages product development budget and prioritization exercises to assist in capital planning submissions

Partners closely with LOB and centralized delivery teams to define product requirements and ensure execution excellence

Partner with customer insights & analytics teams to incorporate feedback and market research into product development

Align with technology teams to explore and integrate digital and fintech solutions into the product roadmap and evaluate feasibility

Ensures product development efforts adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field

Experience:

6+ years of experience in product development, strategy, or consulting within the banking or financial services industry.

Proven ability to develop and execute successful product strategies in a competitive market.

Experience working with digital banking products and fintech solutions is an advantage

Skills:

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Deep understanding of banking products, market dynamics, and customer behavior.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean) and tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
