Responsibilities
Per Diem Position: duties include call coverage one weekend a month with options for additional call coverage weekdays/weekends.
Our comprehensive team of cancer experts include: Onsite Board-certified and fellowship-trained surgical oncologist Board-certified radiation oncologists Board-certified radiologists and pathologists Oncology-specialized nurses Nurse Navigators and genetics testing Dietitians, Pharmacists, Therapists, Social Workers, Financial Counseling Integrative therapy Outpatient Infusion and Chemo onsite Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is home to nationally renowned cancer experts who are committed to clinical research, innovation, and multidisciplinary care. Our comprehensive cancer care program spans the Puget Sound region, allowing us to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.
We recognize that every patient and every cancer is unique, which is why our approach is deeply personalized. Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate closely to develop individualized treatment plans that ensure patients receive the right level of care at every step of their journey. From diagnosis through survivorship, our commitment to compassionate, comprehensive care allows patients to remain within our health system, supported by a full network of specialized providers and advanced technology.
Our cancer programs are nationally accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), a testament to our excellence in high-quality, multidisciplinary cancer care. We are also leaders in clinical research, conducting more than 100 cancer-related studies each year, including National Cancer Institute-sponsored trials and industry research.
Our vision is to grow our oncology service line by bringing expert cancer care into community-based settings, making it more convenient for patients to receive treatment while benefiting from our regional network of specialists.

Qualifications Required Education : Medical Degree ACGME Residency and Fellowship Training Required

: Washington State Medical License Board

Eligible in Hematology and Oncology DEA in good standing

Pay Range $200.45 - $325.61 /hour
