Per Diem Cardiac Sonographer Echocardiology

This is a Day shift, 0.00 FTE position offering the freedom of per diem work with the added benefit of a 15% pay differential in lieu of benefits. What You'll Do: As a Cardiac Sonographer, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care. You'll use your expertise in echocardiography to perform adult, transesophageal, and contrast studies, tailoring each exam to ensure accuracy and completeness. Key Responsibilities: Perform prescribed ultrasound procedures and echocardiographic measurements. Follow imaging protocols and communicate findings to interpreting physicians. Prepare and maintain ultrasound rooms and equipment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care. What You Bring: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program (CAAHEP preferred). RDCS or RCS required within 6 months. Must be ARDMS eligible upon hire. Oregon Board of Medical Imaging registration (or temporary license). BLS certification (required upon hire). Strong communication, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills. Compensation: Hourly range: $45.42 $67.85. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Plus, earn a 15% differential in lieu of benefits.
