Supply Management Specialist
This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This National Guard position is for a Supply Management Specialist, Position Description Number D0878P01 and is part of the DE Delaware JFHQ Army National Guard, National Guard. The responsibilities include: 1. Planning, organizing and managing supply and services functions to include command equipment/property readiness/accountability management. 2. Advising the DOL Logistics Management Officer (LMO) on command supply and services status and recommending support required for current and proposed operations. 3. Maintaining current command supply analysis on trends of effectiveness and efficiency. 4. Receiving fiscal information from each subordinate function to prepare and review budget estimates for the command supply and services functions. 5. Monitoring required unit equipment inventories and being active in the development, scheduling and execution of special command physical inventories. 6. Monitoring unit DODAAC submissions. 7. Military Grades: SGT (E5)- SFC (E7) SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-11 - 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
