Join our dynamic and innovative Vehicle Engineering and Quality (VEQ IT) organization, where you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of experienced software developers and engineers. This unique opportunity allows you to drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge Simulation Process and Data Management (SPDM) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions. This is in support of our vehicle engineering teams enabling efficient processes, enterprise data management and ultimately Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Collaborate with IT and Business leadership to identify and prioritize areas of opportunity for the CAE community working directly with them to define requirements related to SPDM and AIML. Lead and mentor software engineers in the design, development, and troubleshooting of solutions using custom and vendor engineering software for simulation and engineering workflow management using agile development methodologies. Lead software engineers in CI/CD implementations with fully integrated testing automation and pipelines. What You'll Need (Required Qualifications):

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related areas 5+ years applied experience in development, architecture, and software related engineering roles Full stack development experience using Angular, Spring Boot and Java Native application development using C++. Scripting/Automation using Python Thorough understanding of automated testing frameworks, how they operate and are integrated into a CI/CD pipeline Experience implementing a microservices based architecture in a multi-cloud/hybrid environment Working knowledge for implementing machine learning pipelines Experience with Open-source build, test, and deploy tools such as Git, Artifactory, Playwright, JUnit, and Google test Familiarity with several of the following: MPI, OpenMPI, ELK, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Unix shell scripting People Skills:

A high level of intellectual horsepower, technical acumen, and a growth mindset Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with software engineers, technical business customers, project managers, and executive leadership Ability to design strategic solutions with implementation plans that can be executed for short, mid, and long-term results Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines and milestones Ability to deal with ambiguity What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

Familiarity with CAE software tools such as Siemens HEEDS, Altair, LS-DYNA, Star CCM+, PowerFLOW, etc. Masters degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related areas GM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
