Data Analyst

Responsible for analyzing data, developing reports, and delivering insights to support decision-making across the organization. This position supports the bank's growing need for timely, accurate, and actionable data through structured reporting, business intelligence tools, and cross-department collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, clean, and transform data from Snowflake and other data sources. Analyze operational, financial, and customer data to uncover trends, identify outliers, and support strategic planning. Work closely with departments to gather reporting requirements, validate results, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Monitor data pipelines and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems. Create documentation for data processes, report logic, and data definitions to ensure transparency and repeatability. Collaborate with IT and system owners to enhance data accessibility, streamline reporting processes, and develop centralized data models. Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives, audits, and regulatory reporting. Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting tasks and improve analytical workflows. Maintain compliance with bank policies, data governance standards, and applicable regulations related to data privacy and integrity. Assist with internal and external IT audits by preparing documentation, demonstrating application controls, and ensuring developed tools meet compliance requirements. Assist supervisor in all other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
