IT Business Analyst
The BA will play a key role in identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, and proposing effective solutions. This role involves close collaboration with both technical and business teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring regular in-office attendance and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and events.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to identify and evaluate business and technical solutions. Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements; assist in developing application design specifications and test plans. Manage business requests and set appropriate expectations with stakeholders. Document application specifications and assess solution options, risks, and costs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels using strong written and verbal skills. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders. Support communication, training, and change management efforts. Organize and manage work efforts and projects efficiently. Use various tools and techniques for requirements elicitation, such as interviews, focus groups, and process analysis. Analyze and design business processes and workflows. Collaborate with team members to standardize templates and improve work processes. Occasional travel may be required. Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis. Strong understanding of business processes and workflow design. Experience with legal industry software and tools such as iManage, Microsoft Office, WorkShare, and SharePoint is preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proven ability to work with end users, vendors, and technical teams. Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with BABOK and business analysis best practices. Preferred certifications: IIBA or related credentials. Knowledge of methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or UML is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing environments.
