We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and customer-focused Lead Certified Pharmacy Technician to oversee and guide our remote Pharmacy Support Call Center Team. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who not only thrives in a fast-paced environment but also inspires others to deliver exceptional service to patients, providers, and pharmacy partners. As the Lead, you will serve as both a frontline contributor and a team mentor ensuring operational excellence, driving process improvements, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. You'll be a key point of escalation for complex issues and will work closely with pharmacy operations leadership to deliver a seamless experience across all patient and provider touchpoints. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and support to the Pharmacy Support Call Center Team. Monitor team performance metrics (call handling time, quality, accuracy) and provide regular feedback. Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing upskilling for current staff. Operational Excellence Oversee inbound and outbound call workflows, ensuring service quality and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex patient, provider, and pharmacy partner inquiries. Assist in scheduling, workload distribution, and shift coverage planning. Clinical & Technical Support Take verbal prescriptions from providers, ensuring compliance with state regulations. Review and verify prescription processing accuracy before fulfillment. Coordinate with pharmacists on clinical escalations and counseling requests. Continuous Improvement Identify call trends, workflow bottlenecks, and process gaps propose and implement solutions. Collaborate with internal pharmacy operations, fulfillment partners, and leadership to streamline procedures. Participate in strategic discussions around staffing needs, technology enhancements, and service innovations. Compliance & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA and state pharmacy laws. Ensure team adherence to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Required 4+ years of experience in a pharmacy, call center, or healthcare support role, with at least 12 years in a leadership or mentoring position Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Proven ability to manage high call volumes without sacrificing accuracy or quality Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional empathy and professionalism Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and call center software Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-growing company Our Offer To Ensure You Choose Gifthealth
