The posted compensation range of $14.78 - $20.33/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. Driving a 26-foot non-CDL truck. Ensures safe and sanitary transportation of food carts to and from all receiving entities. The driver must adhere to driving laws and state sanitation guidelines. Loads and unloads food carts at various pickup points using lift tail gate or docks as provided. Places carts in designated area. Plans daily work schedules that will best meet the needs of the department and food cart delivery / retrieval. Driver performs duties within the time lines as outlined by the department. Delivers and retrieves carts at specific times. Checks operation of truck and reports any mechanical issues immediately to the Truck lease company, Manager or Operations Director. Fills truck with fuel and checks fluid levels. Maintains sanitation of truck to assure appropriate transport of food after dirty cart retrieval by applying sanitizer to interior of truck bed. Required: Minimum 21 years of age. Valid driver license. Completion of the DOT physical upon hire and prior to expiration. Knowledge and application of appropriate driving skills; strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards. Good communication skills. Strong change management skills. Demonstrate personal traits of a high level of motivation; team orientation; professionalism; trust; and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect. May be on feet a major portion of the day. Extensive periods of climbing, reaching, walking, bending, lifting and standing. Temperature extremes within the department from cooking areas to walk in refrigerators and freezers. Road noise, refrigeration equipment noise. Exposure to potentially harsh weather conditions from 110 degrees in summer to -45 degrees below zero wind chill in the winter Exposure to contact quatinary sanitizer and glycol alcohol (winter) Ability to safely navigate wet, slippery floors.
