Software Quality Assurance
Ensures that software meets quality standards and requirements throughout the development process. Executes planned testing at various phases of software development. Detects, documents, and prioritizes software defects identified during testing, offering comprehensive descriptions and steps for reproduction to enable prompt resolution by the development team. Engages in communication with clients and management, delivering status updates to the stakeholders. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards. Proposes enhancements to product quality and pursues continuous improvement in processes. Generates reports and technical documentation. Establishes and manages testing environments. Offers domain-specific expertise to cross-organizational projects, programs, and initiatives. Possesses a strong understanding of coding to assist in identifying necessary changes for the development of automation quality. Provides guidance and mentorship to junior staff members. Telecommuting is permitted. Position requires a Bachelors or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus ten (10) years of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained; or, alternatively, a Masters or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus six (6) years of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. SALARY RANGE: $194,875.00/year to $270,000.00/year. Variable incentives may also be offered.
