Pharmacy Technician Certified
The posted compensation range of $18.38 - $25.28/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. Responsibilities: Performing a variety of tasks in support of the daily workflow of the pharmacy to include the appropriate distribution of medications in compliance with state and federal laws and in accordance with CSH policies and procedures. Preparing and dispensing prescribed medications for patients. Performing compounding of intravenous medications. Assisting in managing inventory. Performing charging and crediting functions for medications associated with drug distribution processes. Performing routine clerical/administrative tasks. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 6 months compounding of IV medication. Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state in which the employee works, PHARMTECH:TX. Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing in the state in which the employee works. Overview: St. Luke's HealthBrazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services, our hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower, level III trauma center, advanced cardiac care center, and full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center.
