Kitchen Cook Position
Looking for an energetic, motivated kitchen cook for our small preschool. Experience in preparing nutritious meals in accordance with the guidelines required by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Experience working in a commercial kitchen. Knowledge of health and sanitation requirements. Must have a current food handler's license, submit to fingerprint check, have a negative drug screen and TB test. First aid and CPR a plus. Assist in preparing nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, and pm snack). Use the Food Buying Guide for Child Nutrition Program provided by the USDA when preparing menu and creating new recipes to ensure the proper components are provided. Maintain daily meal count and complete annual CACFP and civil rights training. Maintain a sanitary kitchen. Order milk, food truck, and put away stock. Maintain up-to-date records.
