This is a Network Administrator position that will be a technical resource with a focus on the administration of tasks, incidents, and Marine IT projects throughout the Kiewit / Weeks Marine organization. The focus of this position will be the administration / installation and support of the network infrastructure on the Weeks Marine vessels. Technology Group Admin will work on various manufacturers' network hardware/software solutions, including Aruba, Cradlepoint, Juniper, Mist, and Cisco. Technologies include inventory and monitoring tools, wireless technologies, routers/switches and PLC networks. Technology Group Admin will work to ensure that devices are implemented, maintained, and highly available when deployed on vessels. The Technology Group Admin will be responsible for assisting senior team members with daily tasks, configurations, installations of equipment on vessels, inventory management, logistics, and troubleshooting the network that supports connectivity to the business' applications on our vessels. You will be required to update/maintain all documentation requested by management and will be tasked with improving such documentation as required. This role will require boarding vessels, climbing and travel. Kiewit Technology Group builds solutions to enable and support our company's expansive operations. We give our people real-time data to make faster, smarter decisions. This position will require onsite reporting to Weeks Marine Covington - 304 Gaille Dr., Covington, LA 70433. This position will require travel up to 50% of the time to Houma, LA and Bourg, LA and surrounding areas. This position may require long-distance travel, on short notice, as needed. Responsibilities

Configure and support the Weeks Marine Vessel infrastructure environment consisting of Aruba, Cradlepoint, Juniper, Mist, and Cisco while staying within all architectural guidelines and Change Management procedures. Coordinate upgrades and changes with Vessel management and other IT engineering Teams (PLC) Travel to Vessels for installation / support and work outside in sometimes extreme weather conditions. Monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance. Be detail-oriented and produce regular documentation to manage the Weeks Marine / Kiewit environment effectively. Opening work tickets, providing support with Vessel infrastructure production outages, and assisting with product migrations/installations as the business requires. Inventory management and logistics Review project specifications and make design/implementation recommendations for improvements. Follow through on assigned project tasks and consultations/conference calls. Ability to work off-hours when required. Ability to travel to other Vessel Regions as needed for installations. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (40+ lbs) Qualifications

Associate or Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 2-3 years experience in Network administration or related field Ability to install and terminate CAT5/6 Ethernet / Fiber optic cabling Working knowledge of network infrastructure and computing infrastructure. Have knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues using monitoring tools. WiFi experience including point to point WiFi connections Mechanical and Analytical skills are a plus Networking certifications are a plus Relevant engineering and/or construction industry experience is preferred Good written and verbal communication. Independent thinker and self-starter who can still work well within a team environment and under pressure.
