Warehouse Trainee

Wheeler Machinery Co. is currently seeking a Warehouse Trainee for our Hurricane, UT location. The Warehouse Trainee will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders, packing and shipping items, and organizing or retrieving inventory within the warehouse. This role may also involve performing other general warehouse duties as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain an excellent personal safety record Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling and consolidating materials, packing boxed, placing order in staging areas. Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. Maintains inventory controls by processing new, old, and current inventory. Operate equipment, (i.e., Forklifts, electric trucks, scooters) Maintain a clean and organized work area Keeping accurate inventory through daily inventory counts. Accuracy in handling inventory, checking orders, and ensuring that shipments are correctly processed. Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain productivity. Perform other duties as needed. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, and moving goods efficiently and safely. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software, and general computer use for data entry and tracking. Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors. Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes in the workflow or technology. An understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and accuracy in order fulfillment.
